A woman whose boyfriend allegedly killed her inside the couple’s Antioch home early Monday morning has been identified as 44-year-old Deborah Larmey, a Contra Costa County deputy coroner said today. Larmey’s boyfriend, 45-year-old Aaron Johnson, was arrested later Monday morning in Lodi and allegedly confessed to the killing, police said.  According to police, neighbors reported hearing the couple arguing Sunday afternoon and evening. Then, early Monday morning, police received a call from someone who said Johnson might have killed Larmey inside their home at 517 W. Sixth St., police said.  When police went to the residence, they found Larmey dead in a bedroom. Lt. Leonard Orman said police were not releasing details about how she was killed, but an autopsy is scheduled for today. Police later spoke to associates of Johnson who allegedly told investigators that Johnson had made statements indicating that he had killed his girlfriend and was planning to flee the area and kill himself, police
said. At about 11 a.m. Monday police found Johnson at a store on Glasscock Road off of state Highway 12 in Lodi, and arrested him, police said. He had reportedly fled in Larmey’s 1991 Mitsubishi Mirage, which police found at the store as well.  Orman said Johnson has confessed to his involvement in the killing. He remained in custody today at the Martinez Detention Facility and
his bail was set at $1 million, according to a county jail official.
