* Vallejo Man Mateo Hilton-Draquett Suspected Of Shooting Michael Moore And Henry Kearn Surrenders

A man suspected of shooting two Oakland men Tuesday in Vallejo was taken into custody after surrendering to Vallejo police Thursday.Mateo Hilton-Draquett, 27, of Vallejo, was booked into the Solano County Jail at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for assault with a firearm and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, according to the jail’s booking log.The shootings in front of a residence in the 500 block of Wallace Avenue may have involved a vehicle sale, Lt. Abel Tenorio said. Michael Moore, 26, suffered a major injury to his right arm. He was taken to the John Muir Medical Center.Henry Kearn, 23, suffered minor injuries to his torso and went to a local hospital, Tenorio said.Hilton-Draquett recently moved to Vallejo from Oakland, police said.Police said Moore and Kearn and two other people were near a vehicle in front of the house around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when Hilton-Draquett came outside with a shotgun and approached the group. Several shots were fired striking the two victims, police said.Tenorio said Hilton-Draquett purchased a vehicle from the shooting victims but apparently owed them money.
