A 19-year-old Alameda man was arrested in Oakland on Wednesday after allegedly robbing a Bank of America in Alameda in late June, Alameda police Detective Hank Morten said today. Adaski Joseph allegedly robbed the bank located at 1500 Park St. at 5:09 p.m. on June 30, according to Morten.Based on information given to investigators by some of Joseph’s associates, he was arrested at about 12:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of 105th Avenue in Oakland, Morten said. The bank robbery is believed to be Joseph’s first, and investigators think he probably did it because “he was desperate and hungry,” Morten said.”He seemed to be a new person to the field and made a bad mistake, but was actually very cooperative,” Morten said. “Hopefully he learns from this.”
