* Oakland Police Investigating Early Morning Fatal Shooting on Chestnut Street

Oakland police are investigating a fatal shooting that was reported in the city early this morning. The shooting was reported at about 12:10 a.m. in the 1400 block of Chestnut Street, according to police. One person died in the shooting, but no other victim information was immediately available, police said.   No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
