* Two Critically Injured in Two Separate Shootings in Oakland

Two separate shootings less than half an hour apart in Oakland early this morning left two victims critically injured, according to the Police Department. The first shooting was reported at 3:24 a.m. in the 9000 block of Bancroft Avenue, police said. The victim of that shooting was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. No suspects were arrested, police said. The other shooting was reported at 3:51 a.m. in the 3400 block of Foothill Boulevard, according to police. That victim was also listed in critical condition. No suspects were arrested as well, police said. Authorities have not determined whether the shootings were related.
