A man was arrested for drunken driving Friday after the truck he was driving left a Sonoma County Road and overturned several times, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers responded to a report of a solo-vehicle crash on River Road at Slusser Road at around 2:50 p.m. A Ford F250 truck driven by Utah resident Russell Sikes, 65, reportedly ran off the road and flipped over numerous times, causing minor injuries to the driver and his brother, Clarence Sikes, 59, who was a passenger in the truck, according to the CHP. The two brothers were taken to Sutter Medical Center in Santa Rosa, where it was determined that Russell Sikes was under the influence of alcohol, the CHP reported. Sikes was placed under arrest for felony drunken driving and will be booked at Sonoma County Jail when he is released from the hospital, according to the CHP.
