* Monterey Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Ross Killian Near Aromas for Probation Violations

Deputies arrested a man serving probation in Monterey County when a search of his home Friday allegedly turned up several types of contraband, according to the sheriff’s office. A probation compliance check was conducted by deputies at the home of 40-year-old Ross Killian near the community of Aromas at around 5:20 p.m., according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Several items of contraband were found, the sheriff’s office reported, including drugs, paraphernalia, ammunition, explosive devices and fireworks. Killian was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail.
