A teenager from Fremont battling leukemia told the Make-A-Wish Foundation she wishes to meet political commentator Jim Lehrer, and her wish will be granted Tuesday on the set of his television show in Washington, D.C.  Colette Jaycox, 17, will meet Lehrer on the set of her favorite show “NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” and watch while it’s being taped. Jaycox is the president of her school’s Amnesty International chapter and has a passion for politics, according to the foundation.  She will also get a chance to visit sites in Washington, D.C., with her family.  The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, recently fulfilling its 500th wish.
