UPDATE-July 18 2009
A man wanted for questioning in connection with a Thursday murder in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood was taken into custody tonight, more than five hours after he barricaded himself in a home, a police spokesman said.  San Francisco police Sgt. Wilfred Williams said officers spotted two men believed to be armed and dangerous in the 1500 block of Kirkwood Avenue at about 3:45 p.m. Police detained one of the suspects, but the second managed to enter a nearby home. Williams said a SWAT team and hostage negotiation team responded and the second man was detained without incident at about 9:20 p.m.  He said both men who were taken into custody are wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal shooting Thursday at McKinnon Avenue
and Third Street. The victim of that shooting was 28-year-old San Francisco resident Delvon Fields.
