* Vallejo Police Arrest Attempted Murder Suspect After 10 Mile Chase

A 20-year-old Vallejo man was arrested for attempted murder Thursday after leading officers on a 10-mile vehicle pursuit through the city, according to police. Solano County gang enforcement officers, police investigators and SWAT officers participated in the chase, which took place at around 5:10 p.m., according to the Vallejo Police Department.  Officers eventually used a police intervention maneuver to force the suspect’s vehicle to stop, and then employed a Taser to subdue the suspect after he resisted being taken into custody, according to police.  His identity was not released pending an ongoing police
investigation. The suspect was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and then arrested for his alleged involvement in a shooting on July 7 in the 300 block of Valle Vista Drive, which left a man wounded in the leg, according to police.
