Officers arrested a man for attempted robbery Thursday after he was seen leaving a bank in Antioch wearing surgical gear and throwing away a robbery note, according to police.  Oakley resident Anthony Angulo, 36, walked into Umpqua Bank on Lone Tree Way at around 9:45 a.m., according to the Antioch Police Department. He was reportedly wearing surgical gloves and a scrub shirt pulled up to his eyes. Witnesses told police Angulo appeared to act nervous when several people in the bank started watching him approach the counter. He apparently coughed several times and walked out.  Arriving officers reported seeing Angulo throw a piece of paper on the ground as he was walking away. The paper turned out to be a note demanding money from the bank, according to police.  Angulo was subsequently arrested for attempted bank robbery and he was booked at Contra Costa County Jail.
