The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety has identified the man stabbed to death in the city this weekend, leading to the arrest of seven people. Mario Aguilar, 18, of San Jose was stabbed multiple times in the torso, according to Capt. Doug Moretto. Authorities found Aguilar after receiving a call around 12:25 a.m. Sunday about a fight involving up to 20 people.Officers arrived at the 900 block of Bluebell Way and found Aguilar lying on the sidewalk. He was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.Roughly 10 minutes later, officers stopped a car that was seen leaving the scene of the fight. Police arrested Luis Orozco, 20, and Timothy Segovia, 20, of Mountain View, along with Alberto Villareal, 18, of San Jose. Two juveniles in the car were also taken into custody.Officers later arrested Jerome Aguilar, 25, of San Jose, no relation to the victim, and Charlotte Rapuet, 23, of Mountain View. All seven are still in custody, Moretto said, and the five adults now face murder charges. While all the individuals were attending the same party, Moretto said investigators are still piecing together how well the victims and suspects knew one another.Formal charges have not yet been filed with the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office. Spokeswoman Amy Cornell said she expects the case to be delivered to the district attorney’s office Tuesday.
