* Vacaville Police Arrest Michael Ruben Davis for Alleged Robbery of Lucky Supermarket

A man who was already in jail on suspicion of theft was rearrested Thursday on suspicion of trying to steal alcohol and brandishing a gun in a Lucky supermarket in Vacaville back in May, according to the Police Department.  Investigators identified Michael Ruben Davis as the suspect from the May 8 attempted robbery at in the store at 1979 Peabody Road around 7:30 p.m. and arrested him in Solano County jail where he was already in custody, police said. Davis was charged with suspicion of robbery, brandishing a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm, burglary and a parole violation.
