A 36-year-old man was fatally shot in Vallejo late Friday night, police said today. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Enterprise Street and Yolano Drive around 10:40 p.m., according to police. While officers were investigating that call they were notified of a shooting victim at an area hospital, police said. When officers arrived at the hospital they learned the victim, Vallejo resident Osbaldo Rodriges, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had been pronounced dead, according to police. Rodriges is the city’s seventh homicide victim this year, police said.
