The Novato Police Department is currently seeking C. Autis Johnson III on a warrant charging him with Murder. Detective Sophia Winter that on June 12th, 2009, the Marin County District Attorney’s Office indicted six individuals, including Johnson, on charges related to the murder of a Novato resident on September 13th, 2008. Johnson is the only outstanding suspect.
Johnson has a no bail felony warrant for Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder and other felony charges. He has a lengthy, violent criminal history, including past arrests for carrying a loaded firearm. Johnson frequents the Alemany housing projects in San Francisco, Sacramento, CA and has relatives in Antioch, CA. Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous.
