A man suspected of robbing Santa Rosa Councilwoman Veronica Jacobi on Saturday was rearrested Monday after additional evidence connected the Windsor man to the crime, Santa Rosa police said.Officers arrested Filiberto Carrillo, 35, at around 4 p.m. Monday after detectives uncovered video surveillance of him using Jacobi’s credit card, as well as evidence allegedly linking him to the use of the card at a gas station, police said. The card was among property taken from Jacobi at around 9 p.m. on the Fourth of July as she was riding her bicycle near West Sixth and Pierson streets.Two men approached her and asked for her money, police said. When she declined, one of them reportedly pushed her off the bike. Jacobi was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.Carrillo was first arrested on Sunday after Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies found a credit card in Jacobi’s name in his possession during a traffic stop, police said. He later posted bail and was released. He remained free until the new evidence prompted his second arrest on charges of burglary and fraudulent use of an access card.
