* Richmond Coroner Identifies George Antoine Brown As Man Fatally Shot To Death

A 34-year-old man found shot to death in Richmond on Monday night has been identified as city resident George Antoine Brown, a Contra Costa County coroner’s deputy said today.Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 2400 block of Lancaster Drive at around 9:20 p.m. and found Brown suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Richmond Police Department.Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.His vehicle, a blue Dodge Charger, was found nearby. No suspects had been arrested as of this morning.The Police Department is asking for possible witnesses to come forward. A $10,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to an arrest and conviction.Anyone with information should contact homicide Detective Gus Vegas at (510) 621-1244, or the Richmond police homicide detective division at (510) 620-6612.
