Vacaville police arrested three people late Friday night for a home invasion robbery that occurred in the city earlier that night, according to police. The robbery was reported at about 8:15 p.m. Friday at a home in the 1000 block of Foley Court, police said. The victim said that a male suspect pointed a handgun at her, robbed her and took her keys before fleeing in her vehicle, according to police. Officers arrived in the area and quickly located the woman’s stolen vehicle unoccupied on a residential street. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect flee the victim’s vehicle and enter a older model white Lexus vehicle before fleeing the area, police said.  At about 11:40 p.m., an officer spotted a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description at a convenience store in the 100 block of Elmira Road, according to police.  The officer detained three people and searched the vehicle, which contained items taken in the robbery, police said. All three suspects were arrested and booked into Solano County Jail. Lavell James, 20, Rashad Vaca, 18, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for home invasion robbery, conspiracy, and violation of probation,
according to police. All three suspects are Vacaville residents.  Please call the Fugitive Watch hot line at 1-800-9-CAUGHT (1-800-922-8448) or text us at 408-355-0999 if you have any other information that can help solve this crime.
