Several Alameda County residents were hospitalized Monday when a suspect drove a vehicle into a living room following an argument, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle that had driven into a house in the 2200 block of Regent Way at around 7:30 p.m., according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. A 19-year-old Pittsburg resident had allegedly become angry during an argument and deliberately drove a vehicle into the home, striking several people. Five victims were taken to Eden Medical Center and St. Rose Hospital with injuries including a broken neck, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspect was taken into custody on several felony charges and is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Hayward Superior Court, according to the sheriff’s office.
