* Oakland Coroner Identifies Shooting as Tracy Spangler

A woman who was fatally shot Saturday morning has been identified by the Alameda County coroner’s bureau as 29-year-old Oakland resident Tracy Spangler. The shooting was reported at 1:37 a.m. in the 5400 block of Foothill Boulevard, police said. Another woman also was injured in the shooting. Both women were transported to a local hospital, where Spangler was pronounced dead, according to police.  A suspect was taken into custody for the shooting and booked into jail on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, police said.
