A man is in guarded condition after a shooting in Oakland on Saturday night, according to police. The shooting was reported at about 10:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Church Street, police said. He was transported to a local hospital. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was immediately available, police said.
