Santa Rosa police arrested a suspect Wednesday in the robbery of a McDonald’s manager in May. Police said Charles Ciro Amadeo Lipori, 27, was arrested without incident while he was driving from his residence at Santa Rosa Avenue and Todd Road. Police found evidence from the robbery at Lipori’s residence, Fraga said. The female manager of the McDonald’s restaurant at 2521 Guerneville Road was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot on the way to the bank to make a deposit, police said. A still photo of the suspect and a video clip were released on several media Web sites after the robbery. On Wednesday, a citizen who saw the video clip gave detectives an identification of the suspect, Fraga said. Police quickly located Lipori’s residence and the vehicle used in the robbery, Fraga said. Lipori was booked into the Sonoma County jail under $250,000 bail for robbery.
