Vacaville police arrested two men associated with the U.S. Air Force for the alleged battery of a third Air Force man early Saturday morning, according to police. The arrests came at about 1:50 a.m. when officers were monitoring the Main Street area of the city to reduce the amounts of fights and people driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said. Zachariah McDonald and Chad Boch, both of whom are stationed at Travis Air Force Base, were arrested for allegedly punching and stomping a man in a fight over an alleged one-year continuing issue between the three men, according to police. A pushing match had started, and the victim was either pushed or punched to the ground before Boch allegedly stomped on him, knocking him unconscious, police said. Once the victim regained consciousness, he refused medical treatment from paramedics, according to police. The two suspects were arrested and transported to Solano County Jail, police said.
