6-19-2009 UPDATE Pleasant Hill Police Discover Alleged Jealous Husband Robert Hoselton Who Set His Wife’s House On Fire Is Suspected Of Murdering Manuel Gwin CLICK HERE FOR UPDATE

A 39-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of setting fire to his estranged wife’s home in Pleasant Hill, police said.Officers went to the home in the 1600 block of Mary Drive at about 4:35 p.m. after a woman reported that a man had purposefully set fire to her home and that the suspect was still inside, according to police.Arriving officers found the garage of the home fully involved in flames and later located the suspect suffering self-inflicted wounds in the backyard, police said. Robert Hoselton of Walnut Creek was taken to a local hospital for treatment and will be booked into county jail in Martinez on charges of arson and violating a restraining order.Anyone with additional information regarding the case is asked to call police at (925) 288-4630.
