On 6/2/09, at about 1600 hours, a bank robbery occurred at the Well’s Fargo Bank located at 107 E.El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. The subject above handed a demand note to the teller requesting only $50s and $100s. The subject removed the note from the right pants pocket and then placed the note on the counter with his left hand. The suspect repeatedly placed his right hand in his right pants pocket as to motion he had a weapon. No weapon was ever mentioned. The money was placed on the demand note and the subject removed the note and money with his left hand. The suspect was described as a white male adult or a light skinned Hispanic male adult, between 5’9″ and 6′ in height, brown and gray hair, stalky build, wearing a black baseball cap with unknown logo, l/s yellow plaid shirt, blue jeans and white/black running shoes. The subject had freckles on the back of his hands. The subject was also wearing dark tinted sunglasses. The subject fled on foot. Another bank employee looked outside and observed a “Yellow Cab”minivan exiting the parking lot. This was about 2-4 minutes after the subject had left the bank.Yellow Cab was contacted and no fares were picked up or dropped off in the area. The subject never looked up and the cap was worn so low that surveillance video barley captured the subject wearing sunglasses.
