* Oakland Police Need Help Identifying Possible Witnesses In Shooting Death Of Antoine Crossland

Oakland police are asking for the public’s help in locating two people wanted for questioning in connection with the May 15 shooting death of a Castro Valley man.Antoine Crossland, 23, was found shot at 11:36 p.m. that night by patrol officers near the Dimond Branch Library in the 3500 block of Fruitvale Avenue, police spokesman Officer Jeff Thomason said. Crossland was pronounced dead at the scene. Thomason said that during the course of the investigation, officers learned of a man and woman who may have information about Crossland’s death. He said investigators want to identify and talk to the man and woman.
