* Santa Rosa 7-11 Clerk Stabbed During Robbery On Middle Rincon Road

A 7-Eleven store clerk was stabbed in the back during a robbery early this morning, a Sonoma County sheriff’s sergeant said.A man entered the store on Middle Rincon Road in Santa Rosa around 12:30 a.m. and demanded money. He stabbed the clerk and then left with an undisclosed amount of cash, Sgt. Dave Thompson said.The clerk was taken to a hospital and was treated for a single puncture wound to the back,Thompson said.The wound is not considered life threatening.The suspect described as a Hispanic man, 30 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, Thompson said. He had a shaved head and was wearing a white zip-up hooded sweatshirt with dark lines printed on it, a white tank top and dark jeans.He was last seen walking north on Middle Rincon Road, Thompson said.
