A 20-year-old man walked into a Vacaville emergency room Friday night after being shot in the face, according to police. Officers responded to a report of a shooting victim at Vaca Valley Hospital at around 9:15 p.m., according to the Vacaville Police Department. The victim had been shot in the face, and was eventually flown to the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento for treatment. Police did not know the victim’s condition this morning. Investigators believe the man was shot during a confrontation in the 1400 block of Alamo Drive, where a crime scene was located, according to police. After the shooting, the victim was taken to the hospital by a friend who dropped him off. Police have not located any suspects.
