Santa Rosa police arrested three men and a 16-year-old boy early this morning on suspicion of committing auto burglary. A resident called police around 2:30 a.m. to report a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 1400 Range Ave., Sgt. Alissa Johnson said. The caller said a dark-colored sport utility vehicle with its lights off was following three males who were looking into parked cars, Johnson said.Officer Jerry Ellsworth walked through the apartment complex and saw the SUV as it was leaving, Johnson said.Ellsworth stopped the SUV and found burglary tools inside, along with a stereo that had been stolen from a car in the lot, Johnson said.Police arrested Boris Menjivar, Michael Cazares-Avila and Michael Betanzos-Garcia, all 18, and the 16-year-old boy, for auto burglary. All of the suspects are Santa Rosa residents.The adults were booked into Sonoma County jail and the boy was booked into juvenile hall.
