* San Jose Shooting 1200 Block Of McLaughlin Avenue Possible Gang Related

A man was shot in San Jose tonight during a fight among six orseven people, a police officer said.He was shot several times in the 1200 block of McLaughlin Avenue around 8:30 p.m., and when officers arrived, everyone except the victim was gone, Officer Jermaine Thomas said.The man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.Thomas could not confirm what the argument was about but said it might have been gang-related.
