* San Jose Police Identify Andres Garza As The 20-Year-Old Killed, 5200 Block Of Dent Avenue

San Jose police have released the identity of a 20-year-old man who was the victim of a fatal stabbing in the city Saturday morning, police Officer Jose Garcia said today.Andres Garza, a San Jose resident, was killed in the incident, which occurred at about 4:25 a.m. Saturday in the 5200 block of Dent Avenue, according to Garcia.Officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots fired in the area, and arriving officers reported seeing a group of several people disperse from what appeared to be a party that had turned violent, according to police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez.While police attempted to identify and locate witnesses, Garza, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds, walked unaccompanied into Kaiser Permanente Santa Teresa Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, Lopez said.Garcia said today that the investigation is ongoing and no suspect information is immediately available.
