*Oakland Police Arrest Six People in Three Unrelated Incidents

Oakland police arrested six people Saturday and this morning in three unrelated incidents – an assault, a carjacking and a robbery.  The assault was reported at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of 35th Avenue, and a suspect was later taken into custody, according to police.   The carjacking was reported at about 1:20 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Sycamore Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way, police said. A suspect was also taken into custody for their alleged role in the incident.  The robbery was reported at about 12:30 a.m. today in the 3500 block of International Boulevard, according to police. Four male suspects were arrested in connection with the robbery, police said.
