A man was stabbed to death in San Jose this morning in what appears to have been a fight that broke out after a party, police said. Officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots fired in the 5200 block of Dent Avenue at around 4:25 a.m., San Jose police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.  Officers arriving at the scene reported seeing a group of several people disperse from what first reports indicate was a party that had turned violent, Lopez said.  While police attempted to identify and locate witnesses, a San Jose man suffering from one or more stab wounds reportedly walked unaccompanied into Kaiser Permanente Santa Teresa Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, Lopez said.  Further details regarding the homicide were not being released pending a police investigation underway this morning, Lopez said.
