San Jose police are investigating the assault of a 47-year-old man in the city Saturday evening that has left him with life-threatening head injuries, police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said this morning. The incident was reported shortly before 6 p.m. in front of a Little Caesars restaurant near the intersection of McKee and North White Roads, Lopez said. Arriving officers determined there had been a physical altercation in which the victim, a San Jose resident, was assaulted by at least one suspect, according to Lopez, who said it appears no weapons were used in the assault. No arrests have been made and no suspect information was
immediately available this morning, Lopez said.
