* Orinda, 16-Year-Old Joseph Loudon Dies After Being Intoxicated,Patrick Gabrielli, 18, Arrested

Orinda police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy who was found intoxicated and unresponsive at a party late Saturday night, a Contra Costa County sheriff’s spokesman said today.Emergency personnel responded around 11 p.m. to a home in the 100 block of Hillcrest Drive where the party was taking place, sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said.Joseph Loudon was found unresponsive and transported to Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek where he was pronounced dead at about midnight, according to Lee.The cause of death is unknown. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, Lee said.Officers this morning arrested Patrick Gabrielli, 18, on charges of contributing to the delinquency of persons under 18 and furnishing any alcoholic beverage to a person under 21, according to Lee.Gabrielli was booked into jail and has since posted bail, Lee said.
