*Greenfield City Employee Glenn Rudy Arrested for Alleged Child Molestation

A 39-year-old man, the public works superintendent of the city of Greenfield, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl repeatedly in the past three years, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Glenn Arthur Rudy, who resides in south Monterey County, was arrested for lewd and lascivious acts committed against a child, annoying or molesting a child, and child endangerment, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators found that Rudy had been committing these acts on an ongoing basis over the past three years, according to the sheriff’s office. He is being held in Monterey County Jail on $600,000 bail. Greenfield City Manager Roger Wong was not immediately available for comment Friday afternoon.
