  • I don’t have any information about the murderer. But everyone needs to know that Juan Mendoza was a hero: despite being told that the man who had raped me and was going to kill me might still be in my apartment with a loaded gun, Juan who was an unarmed security guard for all of 30 minutes (in training), broke down the door to get me out just as the man returned from buying drugs. Sorry about the “Jane Doe”. We’re still awaiting trial. PLEASE DON’T FLAG THIS, YOU CAN EMAIL ME, THIS IS FOR REAL. He won a Citizen’s Award from the SJPD. There is nothing I can do to ease his family’s pain except this, just tell everyone Juan “Pony” Mendoza was a HERO.
