Four more people have been arrested in the May 2008 killing of a popular San Jose storeowner, police announced today.Three individuals were arrested May 1 and another Wednesday, according to police. Earlier this week police announced the arrest of another suspect, Alejandro Mendoza.Kristina Marie Contreras, 30, of Aromas; Jose Nunez Ortiz, 34; and Javier Pimentel Olalde, 41, both of San Jose, were all arrested in unit block of North White Road in San Jose, according to police. San Jose resident Luis Alejandro Rodriguez, 26, was arrested May 6.All individuals are in custody in connection with the May 23, 2008, killing of Vahid Hosseini, who owned the Willow Market in San Jose.Hosseini, 47, was leaving a Bank of the West branch at 1010 First St. in San Jose when several suspects approached him, according to police reports. One of the suspects shot Hosseini in the head before the individuals took his cash and fled in a stolen silver 2001 Honda CR-V, police said. Hosseini died 11 days later.The complaint filed with the district attorney’s office indicates that Mendoza is charged with killing Hosseini. The other four are charged with being accessories to the crime, according to police.Police were not immediately available to provide further details on the arrests.
