San Jose police announced today the arrests of three men in connection with a fatal stabbing in April.All three men were arrested last month, after the April 17 stabbing of San Jose resident Enrique Flores. Police spokesman Officer Jose Garcia was unable to divulge why investigators waited to announce the arrests.Police arrested Raymond John Garcia, 24, on April 23, Ernesto Guadalupe Ruiz Esparza, 19, on April 25, and Ralph Anthony Garcia, 21, on April 29. Police said the two suspects with the surname Garcia are not related.All three men live in San Jose, Garcia said, and were booked into the Santa Clara County jail on murder charges.According to police, Flores was stabbed multiple times in a shopping center parking lot near the intersection of Almaden Expressway and Foxworthy Avenue. Officers who responded to reports of a fight around 10:10 p.m. found Flores, 35, lying in the street. He died at the hospital.Contrary to initial reports, Garcia said investigators now believe the stabbing was gang-related. However, Flores did not know the suspects, he said, and they did not know him.
