* Union City Andres Flores, Of Newark, And A Juvenile Were Arrested For Their Alleged Involvment In Attempted Homicide

Police arrested a Newark man and a juvenile this weekend in Union City after they allegedly stabbed two people during a fight. At about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to  Calle La Mirada Common to a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found two people who had just been stabbed.The victims were transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered to be life threatening, according to the Police Department. Two people were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the assault.Andres Flores, of Newark, for booked into Fremont Jail on suspicion of attempted homicide, police said. A juvenile was transported to Juvenile Hall.
