* Man Gunned Down And Killed Infront Of El Sobrante Walgreens Was Identified As Richmond Resident Brandon Hollis

A man who was fatally shot in front of a Walgreens store in El Sobrante Wednesday evening has been identified as 28-year-old Richmond resident Brandon Hollis, according to the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.The shooting happened at about 6:10 p.m. in front of the Walgreens at 3630 San Pablo Dam Road, sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said.Hollis was pronounced dead at the scene, Lee said.Deputies searched the area with a helicopter and a police dog for several hours and were continuing to search for suspects today, but so far haven’t found the shooter, Lee said. An autopsy conducted on Hollis’ body today showed that he had been shot multiple times, Lee said.
