* Hayward, Tyrone Fuller Charged With Murder,DUI For March 21 Fatal Hit And Run Which left 46-year-Old Roger Guess Dead

A 21-year-old Hayward man is scheduled to be arraigned today in Alameda County Superior Court on a murder charge in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash last month.Tyrone Fuller allegedly fled the scene of the March 21 crash on Foothill Boulevard in Hayward that left 46-year-old Roger Guess dead.Guess, also of Hayward, had been driving his Honda Accord through an intersection at about 6 a.m. when a Nissan Murano sport utility vehicle ran a red light and struck the Honda, police said.Guess died at a hospital.Fuller allegedly drove off in the SUV following the crash, but was arrested Monday afternoon in Hayward. Assistant District Attorney Richard Klemmer said today his office has charged Fuller with murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, felony hit and run, and driving under the influence causing injury.Klemmer said Fuller was allegedly under the influence of both alcohol and marijuana at the time of the crash.Fuller has also been charged with filing a false police report for allegedly lying to police that the SUV had been stolen before the crash.According to Klemmer, the SUV is registered to Fuller’s family and he had access to the vehicle.Fuller is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges at 2 p.m. in Alameda County Superior Court in Hayward.
