*Antioch Alleged Gang Member Alfredo Cobain Arrested For Shooting At Passing Car

An 18-year-old Pittsburg man was arrested Thursday afternoon for allegedly firing a gun at a passing vehicle, according to Antioch police.Alfredo Cobain, an alleged gang member, was arrested for the incident, which was reported at about 4:05 p.m. in the area of G and West 19th streets in Antioch, according to police.Antioch police received several calls about a man armed with a gun who had fired the gun at a passing vehicle, and arriving officers spotted Cobain, who matched the suspect description given by callers.Cobain tried to flee from officers and discarded a loaded firearm in bushes along a nearby house, police said. He was detained shortly afterward and taken into custody, according to police, who recovered the firearm and later determined it was stolen.Cobain was taken to Martinez Detention Facility on various weapon and stolen property violations with gang enhancements.
