Concord police and the FBI today are investigating whether the same man who robbed a local bank Tuesday is responsible for several other bank robberies in the area.At about 10:23 a.m. Tuesday, a man entered the Guaranty Bank at 5100 Clayton Road and used a note to demand money from the teller, police said. He threatened that he had a gun, but no weapon was seen.The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. No one was injured in the robbery. Police said the suspect may have robbed the First Bank of Concord at 2395 Willow Pass Road on April 15 and that he is also a suspect in bank robberies in other area jurisdictions.Concord police have released a picture of the suspect, who is described as a white man in his mid 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 to 170 pounds. He is clean-shaven with short brown hair and tattoos on his neck.In the Tuesday robbery, the suspect was wearing a grayish blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored baseball cap turned backward and tan short pants.He may be associated with a teal Honda sedan, police said.Please call the Fugitive Watch hot line at 1-800-9-CAUGHT (1-800-922-8448) or text at 408-355-0999 if you have any information.
