A 13-year-old girl has gone missing this morning from a detention facility in unincorporated San Mateo County near the Crystal Springs Reservoir, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. The girl went missing shortly after midnight from the Margaret Kemp Girls Camp located on Tower Road, according to the sheriff’s office. She is described as being a Hispanic girl who is about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. The Margaret Kemp Girls Camp is a minimum security facility for students who have been court ordered to probation programs.
If anyone sees the girl, the sheriff’s office asks that they notify local law enforcement or dial 911.
