Police arrested a Union City man early Sunday morning on suspicion of molesting three young girls, Union City police Lt. Kelly Musgrove said
today.  Yong Heng Du, 53, was arrested at about 1 a.m. at his home in an apartment complex at 4125 Dyer St. Police became aware of the alleged molestations Friday after a woman allegedly saw her daughter walk away from a playground with Du, Musgrove said.  The mother followed the suspect and was able to intervene, but not before Du allegedly committed a lewd act on the child, Musgrove said.  The mother called police and the child was then interviewed by specialists. Detectives also interviewed other parents in the apartment complex and found two other girls who Du had allegedly molested, Musgrove said. The three victims are 7, 8 and 9 years old. Du was arrested on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14 years old and false imprisonment, Musgrove said.  His bail was set at $70,000 and he remained in custody this afternoon.
