*Two Unrelated Oakland Shootings Saturday Night

Oakland police today are investigating two unrelated shootings that hospitalized two people Saturday night. A shooting was reported in the 8300 block of Baldwin Street. The victim transported himself to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to police. Another shooting was reported in the 600 block of Bellevue Avenue near the Lake Merritt Boat House, police said. A woman suffered minor injuries in the shooting. No arrests have been made in connection with either shooting, and no suspect information was available as of 6 a.m. today.
