A 30-year-old woman was arrested today on suspicion of burglarizing a home near Guerneville, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department announced.Deputies went to a home on Richardson Road in the Odd Fellowsgated community at about 12:30 p.m. after a resident reported seeing a woman enter his neighbor’s unoccupied home, according to he sheriff’s department. The woman fled the house, abandoning the pickup truck she arrived in, when the resident went to investigate the situation.The sheriff’s department dispatched a helicopter and the California Highway Patrol assisted in setting up a perimeter in the area. A K-9 unit and deputy found the suspect, 30-year-old Yvonne Lucero of Rio Nido, hiding under foliage near a tree stump, according to the sheriff’s department.Lucero was booked into the Sonoma County jail on charges of residential burglary and possession of a concealed weapon in a vehicle.Detectives are investigating whether Lucero is responsible for other burglaries in the west part of the county.
