Santa Rosa police arrested four men and a juvenile this week in connection with four marijuana-related robberies in the city since July.Donald Paul Parker, 30, and Tyrone Termaine Jones, 33, were arrested Thursday at their Santa Rosa residences for two first-degree marijuana-related home invasion robberies in Santa Rosa in July and in January, Sgt. Steve Fraga said.A marijuana growing operation was found at Parker’s residence and two firearms were found at Jones’ residence, Fraga said. Jones also was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and being in possession of a firearm with the serial numbers removed, Fraga said.Abraham Gutierrez, 21, was arrested at Jones’ Jennings Avenue residence for possession of an illegal weapon and a probation violation, Fraga said.Parker also is a suspect in a February 2006 home invasion robbery of jewelers who operated a business out of their home, Fraga said. DNA taken
from a bloody glove left at the scene linked Parker to the crime, Fraga said.Max Julian Foster, 21, was arrested off Santa Rosa Avenue Thursday for robbing a marijuana dealer of one pound of high quality marijuana and a
large amount of cash in the Kawana Springs Road and Santa Rosa Avenue area on Wednesday, Fraga said.
The marijuana dealer was able to identify Foster and a juvenile as the suspects, Fraga said. The dealer also identified the juvenile as a suspect in a March 26   marijuana-related home invasion robbery on Range Avenue on March 26.In that robbery, three armed suspects stole several marijuana plants, personal items and the resident’s vehicle, Fraga said. The juvenile was arrested Thursday for one count of robbery and possession of a loaded firearm, Fraga said. Police are trying to locate and arrest the other two suspects, Fraga said.A search of Foster’s Bedford Street home uncovered a marijuana growing operation and cocaine and Foster also was arrested for possession of cocaine for purposes of sales, Fraga said.Fraga said police have investigated 27 robberies in the past 90 days. Many of the robberies were committed in the specific area between Mendocino Avenue and Crawford Court and South A Street and Santa Rosa Avenue. In the robberies, a lone victim is approached and assaulted with either fists or a weapon and wallets, cash and cell phones are taken, Fraga said.
