*San Jose Fatal Shooting At 700 block of Cotton Tail Avenue

A man was shot and killed in a residential neighborhood in east San Jose tonight, a police spokesman said.Officers went to the 700 block of Cotton Tail Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. on reports of shots fired and located a man suffering gunshot wounds, police Officer Jermaine Thomas said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.Thomas said investigators believe the shots may have been fired from a vehicle, but no suspect information was immediately available.
